Rich Scannella has taught private drum instruction since 1987, and is currently an adjunct professor at Rider University. While the majority of his teaching has been in the central New Jersey area, he has taught as far north as upstate New York and northern New Jersey, and as far south as Philadelphia.Teaching beginners to advanced students, Rich tries to make every lesson a unique and fun experience while covering the essentials to becoming a better player. In addition to teaching the basics, he also focuses on the numerous aspects of drum set performance that enables every drummer to comfortably handle any playing situation.He continues to be sought after for his teaching skills by individuals, schools, and companies to further help students achieve their goals.
